Principles behind TLG Market licenses
Stable terms
An approved policy receives a stable identity and immutable versions. A later document does not silently replace the version accepted on an earlier order.
Explicit licensee
Checkout names the person or organization receiving the grant. Switching organizations never merges, transfers, or reconstructs a customer library.
Release-aware rights
Update and legacy-release eligibility comes from the acquisition-time policy. New releases preserve prior history and download records.
Durable ownership
Removing a listing from sale does not erase the customer’s order or entitlement history.
